Navigating life and its complexities can be incredibly difficult. Many of us experience loss, trauma, or other significant events which shape the way we view ourselves and the world around us. Pursuing therapy is an act of bravery and self-love, and that already deserves recognition.
My path toward becoming a therapist began as a child, inspired by the care of an understanding and welcoming school counselor. Since 2020, I've had the privilege of working with adult and adolescent individuals on their unique journey towards healing and growth. Through this work, I've had the honor of witnessing the strength of the human spirit in spite of pain and challenges.
I work with many presenting issues individuals face, ranging from struggles during life transitions to the profound impacts of severe trauma. Regardless of the path that has brought you here, I understand the universal desire to be seen, heard, understood, and respected, free from fear of judgment or undue scrutiny. I am an integrative and holistic therapist, utilizing EMDR, relational, existential, and cognitive therapies.
I'm passionate about working with people from all walks of life, including BIPOC, LGBTQ+, and neurodiverse backgrounds. Honoring your identities I consider essential, as I understand they can mold our human experience. I pride myself in offering a kind, authentic, open, and easygoing atmosphere.
I've found immense fulfillment in guiding individuals through their vulnerabilities, understanding that it's in those moments where true growth and healing often take root. I believe that the foundation of successful therapy lies in the strength of the therapeutic relationship. In this space we can increase self-awareness, nurture confidence, and explore the depths of who you are, and who you want to become. Together, we'll create a safe and warm place where your true self can learn to flourish.
